So you can swich of free fly in any map if you like.
Could you explain me why free fly is still being kept in maps where events are going on? To have more ppl to ban?

And whats the point of free fly in heroin or.. Belusian or whatever..? To save 4 minutes of walking to dp? Well that "makes sense"..

And zp, why arent you fixing something?
I thought developers are supposed to look busy all the time xD

Because it takes a server reboot to change. You want to reboot the server every event?

Because it's a free fly server.

Because I'm at work and can't really concentrate on other things, let alone have access to my machine. I do have a few minutes here and there to goof off and post when I'm not busy. :lol:

I don't have to prove anything to you and I'm not wrong. If it was really an issue I believe Carl would change it, it's not. Your're going to need to make it an issue and your going to need a lot more than 92 people to do that.

I played retail since beta and still have an active account, I know what it's like and the servers are practically barren. They've closed/merged most of the servers just so people have someone to play with. There's more active players on gamez than my retail server. :lol:

92 people do no consist of the majority on this server. I can log in now and find over 200 asmo's on and there are probably just as many elyos not to mention peak is @800 simultaneous although there are over a thousand accounts.

End of story.

I'm home now and don't have time to waste. Argue with yourself. I'm done with this "discussion". :smile:

[edit] On a side note I voted yes, BUT, not at the expense of taking away free fly. I'm all for having a ground pvp area as long as maps and rifts stay the way they are.

Just to point something out. During events there are rules like no fly so there you go. You already got some ground pvp.

I like the server how it is now. But for futher updates like inggision and that part of baluar it would be fun if that place is gone be no fly zone only glide.

Right so us who loves ground battles can only experience it once every day? =/
And most of the time you have to live with nabs who've never played a game before and just rush in and commit suicide

+1000. And not everyone in the legion get's into an event... I haven't made it into/for an event for almost a full WEEK now.. and little to say my forum post's show I'm on one hell of a lot...

 

Honestly, zero, go tell Carl to automate the announcement... this topic keeps popping up, and it keeps showing overwhelming support. Your sig tells me a bias that a developer simply must not have. Majority rules. Let them watch the pvp vids and decide if they want it or not...

I can't wait simply because extendables on the ground are sooo much more versatile than in the air.

 

Not just extendables, makes tactic's work and stop's pvp from being boiled down to the invading race being zerged out.

-Makes 1vs 1 more fair for gladiators, chanter's, assasin's (ESPECIALLY ASSSASINS! WHO ARE LIKE DEAD ON THIS SERVER!), and templar's.

I just can think of so many reason's why this should be implemented...

-Diversity of pvpstyles, balance for classes, allowing skill's to function properly, making run speed scroll's more effective, making legion's raids more impacting and tactical, allowing exploration of the map's that people can't even tell me where half the stuff is on!

So muccch...!

And this is coming from a sorcerer, not a melee fighter. I don't like facerolling, but this is the only class I can play.

 

Zero, imma try and dumb it down for you as best I can.

There are two types of people those who like AIR PVP, and those who like GROUND PVP.

Right now, there is only ONE TYPE OF PVP. AIR PVP.

Taking away free fly in hieron/beluslan makes TWO types of Pvp. BOTH AIR AND GROUND are available.

What is the end result? BOTH parties are satisfied.

PROS are numerous of ground pvp vs air, but lets not get into that
CONS, walking takes a BIT longer.

So I do not get why the hell don't we do this? Its not as if there is one side who misses out in this system. Both parties get what they want.

End result of cold calculating logic, Keeping free fly will only piss people off, taking it out will make everyone happy.

And I'mma try and dumb it down for you: This server is advertised as a free fly server. Asking to have free fly removed is like asking to have rates changed to be retail like. Whether or not GPvP is more awesome than APvP is not the issue. The issue is that this server is labeled as free fly and at the end of the day if you do not like this feature you can't just expect it to be removed just because you got 95 votes that want GPvP featured in the server.

And an another thing, just because people want GPvP doesn't mean they want Free fly removed. As ZP has already told you Balaurea will be solely GPvP, more likely than not. So stop with the incessant arguing. Both sides have presented their case, now shut the hell up.

 

how many maps do we have? 7(including 2.0 map) each race + instances.

Features of a server change. The server was advertised as 1.5, now its 1.9. Using your logic, should they have kept it at 1.5 just because it was advertised that way? I know its different, but they can CHANGE their advertisements. And zero has ZERO clue on what carl is doing. Everyone does. Chances are baluria will be free fly from what I know of carl...

I ask that this thread be sticked, closed, cleaned, and announced in global chat. That is how major suggestions should be handeled. And I am wondering why thats not happening?

Because you don't have more than 500 votes like Zero asked you to get.
And please, don't make stupid arguments. You're only insulting yourself. You know damn well that free flight is a feature offered by the server, like many official servers offer servers specialized for Role-Playing, PvP, etc.

What the bloody hell do skills have to do with this? If anything the broken skills are more of an incentive to keep free flight in as they should get priority over removing a huge feature that you knew the server had when you joined.

 

how many ppl do we actually have connected to this server everday? i pretty sure half of the ppl who play this game dont even care to look at the forum so getting 500 ppl might be kind of hard only way to get eveyone to look at this topic n vote is to broadcast all over the server.
