Guardian Deity Transformation

I know its difficult, but theres a quite a few people in the community like my legion mate previously mentioned who offered to work for FREE, and were turned down. I know Carl has to be carefull who he allows access to his files, and the he wont even let Chlora have access to some of them, and I dont blame him at all for being wary, but theres got to be some kind of way to give some restricted access or controlled access to a few people. But Im no programming expert so I dont know what all this would entail.

 

If your friend wants to help just have him post code that can be tested. He doesn't need access to develop or contribute.

Not saying Carl will actually use everything but the contributions can also be posted at Aion Unique for inclusion to the trunk.

Don't we have enough problems already with hackers and cheaters with infinite life? invalid targets? (directly directed to asmo players )
haven't we had enough with asmo legions being equipped with over-enchanted items from gms?
I do not see the need for any more "transformations" really, especially when high end gear is accessible ONLY to DONATORS.........

As for the sieges, this is a very bitter point..... no sieges on the server, yet one asmo legion owns one...... very sad

 

I think changing a few things might balance deity transformation. My idea is that only the top abyss rank would allow transformation, and you could increase the recharge time too. Though this is just a "5 mins" idea, but with a bit more planning we could think off something better :sideways:

 

its not that bad to have that avilable:
1. can only use it on abyss
2. last for 10minutes so not much OP
3. 2 hour cooldown
a group transformed in diety could be nasty but... since the UD's seems to be broken again you just have to stun lock the big guy and no problem for anyone since while ur transformed ur supposed to be immune to all that stuff

 

Its still not working when I am trying to transform nothing happen! :<

 

1. Elyos hack and cheat just as much as Asmos so dont go blaming us for all the hackers and cheaters, its not like all the evil dirty rotten cheaters play asmos and all the good little angels who follow all the rules play Elyos. If you see a hacker record him on Fraps or Xfire, or get your logs and post it on here and the GMS will look into it.

2. I have never heard of GMs giving items to players, and I sure as hell never got anything from the GMs other than the event rewards. The elyos have powerful gear too as players on both sides vote and donate, stop your QQing no one is forcing you to play here.

3. The asmo legion that "owns" the divine fortress is PewPewKittens which was Chloras legion. He was a programmer here before he got banned and when he was setting stuff up one day he made the PewPewKittens "own" the divine fortress in the core as some kind of easter egg. It is still filled with baleur mobs and npcs and the Guardian Deity is Baleur. Neither PewPewKittens nor the rest of the Asmos gaing any type of advantage or access to anything special from this. Fortress sieges and ownership dont work yet and it will be some time before they do.

 

The exact same things can be said about elyos... Neither faction is innocent.

 

So why I cannot use transformation? Cos I am not VIP? "
