Guide for the new players about instalation guide.

Hello, im mario and im really Confused.I really dont know wich step i should do 1st in installin the game I mean all i know for now is that i must Download the NCSoft launcher and wait 6 hours till Aion finished downloadin.By Curiosity i went to forum to check out the Instalation Errors and im Confused.... Do i need to open the Official Aion 1st? Do i need a new update for 3.7?and where i find it?What is item.pak?when should i download GamezAion launcher?
If anybody have time to respond me i will be Very Thankfull and Very Happy

hi mario, welcome xd lets go down the pipe and go through it step by step shall we?



1. when you get the ncsoft launcher, make sure you set the region settings to north america in the settings and disable automatic updating since gamez does not always keep up with retail versions
2. download the game through the ncsoft launcher, all the way to the end with all the updates. 3.5.0.7 (aka 3.7) is fully supported here
3. ignore the errors thread, most people do not face these issues these days as no downgrades are necessary for now
4. the items.pak is a client side modification that lets you trade untradeable items (removes client side restrictions). some items still have server side restrictions and require VIP to trade (1500 credits for 30 days)
5. you download and install the gamez launcher after your aion is fully installed. install it inside your aion folder (it wont work anywhere else) and run it. it will download a few small client side patches. run the game to make sure it works before trying to mess with the items.pak since that one can cause crashes at startup. it makes it easier to figure out where the problem is later
