Guide Guide on How to find out the % drop rate of an Item

Hi guys Bonechi here for a lil guide on how to find the exact % drop rate of an item using https://bdocodex.com/us/

Step 1: go on https://bdocodex.com/us/ and type in your desired item you want more information on and click on it

Step 2: Once you are on the specific items page scroll down till you can see the "Dropped by NPC" or "Gathered From" section

Step 3: Get your % Value and Multiply it by 10, the result will be the % chance in the server


Heres some examples:

Hard Black Crystal Shard
- Retail rate = 0.243%
- GameZ rate = 2.42%
Sharp Black Crystal Shard
- Retail rate = 0.108%
- GameZ rate = 1.08%
Witch Earring
Drop chance from a Skeleton Warrior
- Retail rate = 0.0225%
- GameZ rate = 0.225%
Serap's Necklace
Drop chance from a Cadry Chief Gatekeeper
- Retail rate = 3%
- GameZ rate = 30%

You could solo gk on retail last year already. It just takes too long to be efficient. Regardless, you will receive loot for each member in party, at which point it doesn't matter if they're soloable for this loot table to be relevant.

 

its not 10x of retail, let me just quote kolka "just not retail custom formula for x10 drop" when i asked abt why some stuff low and not 10x of retail.

 

What does that even mean?

 

Current Server Rates
• Monster Exp rates: 10x
• Life exp rates: 5x
• Horse exp rates: 5x
• Tendency, Explore, Fitness exp rates: 5x
• Skill, Guild skill exp rates: 5x
• Monster, Collection, Steal, Fishing drop rates: 10x

it is x10 as specified on the website and discord server info
