Not really. Strangling is a bit much.

Though I did have a fling with this other crazy chick that was into the kinky stuff like handcuffs and being tied up. She was crazy too but her thing was a lot better than strangling. Unless you're doing something wrong you're probably not going to accidentally kill someone. Especially considering the fact that most forms of BDSM are done using a safeword, and done in a very safe, planned manner, specifically to prevent any kind of injury like that.

Strangling doesn't always have to be bone crushingly hard, that obviously isn't fun for some people but its a way to show power, to assert your dominance which is what some people get off on.

Handcuffs serve the same purpose though so if thats your thing, then you got it, but I personally don't like the way it looks when someone is tied up so I'd stick to handcuffs, strangling, or other stuff like that

OK there seems to be some confusion.

Strangling can vary on roughness from couple to couple but its meant to imply the physical aspect of constricting ones throat, which may cause impaired breathing but only to a minor extent, the person should be able to breathe just fine but they are effectively put into submission and possibly get some bruises, depending on how rough it was.

What you are thinking of is asphyxiation which is a very different fetish based on someone not breathing, sometimes to the point of them losing consciousness. Its also very dangerous because if not done correctly you can kill yourself.

Also because dimi has been talking about the subject so much I had a really weird dream last night

So apparently I dreamed I was back in school, and I guess I had just transferred from another school (relevant later) so this school wanted everyone to shape up and such so in gym class we all had physicals and once we were done the school administration decided everyone needed to have incisions made in their muscles so they would grow correctly (??????????) which involved using these weird things with spikes on them that looked like they belonged in a torture chamber. So everyone is like "don't worry it doesn't hurt that much" BUT apparently since I had transferred from another school my bone structure was incorrect (??????????). So then they tell me they're going to have to break a few bones so they'll grow back correctly.

Well it turns out breaking bones is supposed to be really fucking painful so being the wimp I am, naturally I met with the person that was supposed to be doing all this stuff, who just happened to be a really cute girl. After talking with her for a while I decided I had to go through with it but she told me she'd "comfort me" so basically I ended up having my muscles cut open and my bones broken just so I could wake up right before the hot pain induced sex.

Because in dreams you never get sex.
