Halo 4

Anyone else gonna buy this hell of a game? 9.8/10 on IGN seems legit.

 

Gonna head over to Gamestop tomorrow to pay off my preorder. It better be awesome as Assassins Creed 3 while still being a great game has disappointed me greatly.

AC3 was disappointing ?

I plan on getting it and playing over thanksgiving break

anyone getting Call Of Shit: Modern Repeat Black Ops? i might buy it on ps3 since i have no xbox friends who are getting it D:

swear black ops 2 looks more like mw than black ops. black ops 1 was the best in the cod series apart from 1/2/3 ww2 genre was fun.

 

As if that was going to stop me from not buying that game

I shall be getting that on PS 3 as well, black ops was dope, but CoD 4 online play was something else.

 

Yeah i liked cod4 as well. mw3 was so crap i couldn't believe how many people played it.

i hate the xmas holidays so many games my wallet is gonna be dusty by january.

 

I ll get Halo 4 during the curse of the month. No rush.

Am since I am a fan of classics, I ll be getting the HD collection of Zone of the Enders, I miss The second Runner.

 

No, it was disappointing. It's still a great game and I've already sunk hours into it but there are a lot of missing features that were advertised to be in it, lots of bugs and glitches, and lot of stuff that normally wouldn't be a big deal if it was the first game in the franchise are much more frusturating simply due to the fact that this is the 4th game and by now they should be able to get this done.

I really think this game was rushed to get out by the end of October and a lot of it is they simply didn't have the time to make things work right so they were cut, such as canoeing or the "random missions" and lots of other things advertised. Had the designers been giving an extra month or two so they had more time for bug fixing and polish they could have gotten the game out for the Christmas season and it would have been much more finished. I also don't like the lack of awesome armored assassin outfits like the ones in AC2, Brotherhood, and Revelations.

It's still an awesome game(I love the Tomahawk, ropedarts, and the naval battles are just awesome) but there are a lot of flaws that simply should not be there.

It's the 5th, not the fourth, but you got all the games there so I guess just brainfart. I figured as much they were going to rush it, they are offering a lot of patches and increased content in the DLCs, hopefully they plan on cleaning up the game that way as long as the mechanics are still there.

Damn these guys are out to take my money.

 

It is the 5th on the consoles and then there are a few PSP titles too. I'm not sure how but the jungler is somehow involved in that little typo. Of course they're having a lot of patches and DLC's but IMO they shouldn't HAVE to be needing to do that. With as big and hyped game as it is, and with all they've done and as much time as they've had to work on it most of the stuff that was broken or underdeveloped should have been working right from day 1.

There have been quite a few instances where I was thinking "Who the hell beta tested, approved, and signed off on this? This is ridiculous." Especially considering this is from the same team that made Assassins Creed 1 and has been working on it ever since they finished the first game. Separate teams worked on AC2 and the other titles.

It's still a great game but there was a lot missing or broken that shouldn't have been and overall it feels like the devs were just rushed to get it out the door when they should have waited an extra month or so to finish it and then release it just in time for the holiday season.

 

It won't matter to them because they know the name sells big time.

Actually it matters greatly to them as I know the devs are extremely passionate about their work. It's the big wigs at corporate headquarters rushing them to get it out the door so they can fill up their offices with bags of money that are the problem.

 

So i just played 6 hours of slayer and its soo good, love getting the shotguns from the killstreaks and everything is soo balanced.

and the dmr is actually good, hated it in reach.

damn cant find a sniper only mode q_q

 

Don't wanna make another thread but SWAT mode is back, and i pre ordered black ops 2 and my opinion is there is nothing great about, and i'm a little disappointed once again. damn cod xD
