Hardened Pine Plywood

I've crafted all the mats, and when I heat "Plywood Hardener", with "Pine Plywood", the end result is that This does not work at all. Normally, there are quests required every tier of crafting, and multiple for some, however I've been crafting everything/anything without doing 1 single quest for the knowledge. However, when this stopped working, I went to go find the npc for the knowledge, and he wasn't in Find NPC, so I went to where I found him on retail, and he wasn't there. I see plenty of noble wagons, so I know it's possible to craft it, anyone mind shedding light on this for me?

You are probably not looking in the right place. And you cannot get the Heating: Skilled before getting all of the other Skilled knowledge. Start here. http://bddatabase.net/us/quest/2100/65/

Also, look at your Black Spirit quest guide for info on Life Skills quest.

That NPC is underground. I bet you are looking above ground. If you do that quest chain completion of each Skilled knowledge quest will set a marker to the next quest giver.

 

Hm. Ok, thanks I'll give it a shot. I know that in retail I had to do quests to learn basic heating, to make ingots, and didn't have to here, so assumed you didn't need to quest for them at all here but I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the reply and help.

 

You do need Heating: Skilled to make the higher stuff on this server, I was in the exact same boat you are with Sturdy Pine Plywood. Was not sure about the Heating: Basic (or whatever) to make Ingots as I did that quest first chance I got. But I did all of that quest chain for Processing, all the way up to 50, just this last week. Finished yesterday after patch.

 

Ok, big solve. For some reason by default, all quests related to life skills, were hidden. Therefore even when I spoke to NPCs, or checked black spirit, there was nothing. I manually went to the O tab and chose life-skills and it asked me if I'd like to unhide them (Which I never even chose to hide) and boom, they are all there. Thanks so much! Hopefully this will help anyone else too.
