    You won t understand the point of this thread unless u r greek but I ll translate anyway...

    When, at a point of Trojan war, Trojans were winning versus greeks Polydamas Hectors' brother saw an eagle get beaten by a snake while on fly (the eagle had the snake on its claws). He advised Hector to turn back and head to the safety of Troys walls. Hector replied.

    Εις οιωνός άριστος αμύνεσθαι περί πάτρης

    Meaning: "The best omen is only one, fight for your country"

    By changing the position of 2 letters we get an entirely different meaning

    Εις οιωνός άριστος αμύνεσθαι περί πάρτης (για την πάρτη σας!)

    Meaning: "The best omen is only one, fight for yourself"
