hello

hello , i have a problem with my client , when i try to open the gamezaion launcher it says >Gamez Updater is already running ( multiple instances ) altho it's not working , and i also tryed to restart my pc , and re-download it again , but it didn't work >.>
so if anyone one could help me id appreciate it

Restarting the PC should've killed the useless processes already, check the Task Manager for GamezAion.exe and if it's there, kill it

 

well , i thinked of that as well , and nope , i didn't find it
that's the weird thing :3

 

Check for the Updater.exe in the Processes tab of the Task Manager, if it's not there either

Windows key + R > type "msconfig" > go to Startup tab, unselect all the useless things you find and restart your PC, if the launcher is not really running (nor the updater.exe file), a software is using it, which is weird

 

here's my problem , does anyone knows how to fix it ?!

on topic: idk actually, i was about to say to download launcher again and install it...but you said you already did uh

 

While the issue remains unsolved, you can use a .bat launcher with the following content for the time being:

(note you need to create a .bat file first)

but it says

Reinstall the Gamez launcher and make sure the d3d8thk.dll file is in the bin32 folder of your Aion directory.

 

i tryed that , but the problem is that my gamezaion launcher don't even work
i'm running aion with the .bat launcher
and yea it's in my bin32/aion

 

If it doesn't work still, you can use the .bat launcher, but to connect you need the files the .exe launcher downloads, and as it's not working, you can have them from this link: https://www.mediafire.com/?c51jp012gwthyv3/

Also, is the updater.exe process still working? Did you try killing it from the Task Manager? Is your UAC on or off? Are you using an antivirus?
