Help gearing up beginner

Im like lvl 54 or so i pretty much have starter gear apart from a +15 green weaon from marketplace, anyone have quick simple guide what i should do next? Should i try upgrade my armour or save to buy some +15 green armour from market? I think im like 90/60 ap dp, been grinding at catfish and started horse training for money

 

Getting to 56 should be your first priority, since Awakening skills does more damage than your pre-awakened skills.
Theres a person in calpheon that will let you borrow a weapon for 50 contribution points, i think the weapon is equal to a pri or duo yuria.
If you can find a group @ helms thatd be great, you get asula earing and ring there. If you have time farm the rest of the asula set @ Elrics and Abandonned Iron Mine.
After all that gear up and get yourself better armors. The rest is just you farming for more Skill points and exp.
