I think he souldnt go for sorc if he want to focus on survivality (no offense, sorcs die fast). Btw Sorc is an awesome class and probably the best dps or similar to sins. If you manage to stay back at group pvp you can do a lot of damage. But its not what he wants (no survivality, no support for his brother) ^_^

 

Wow, this topic has developed quite nicely Ty for chanter support, u convinced me to go for chanter.

And my brother is going to make a gladiator, so we will try the chanter/sin and chanter/glad combo, and see which will turn out the best.

To answer the discussion about sorc - I don't like this class, it dies even faster than the ranger, due to lack of hide. When I tried to go ingisson with my guild, I was usually one of the first classes that were massively attacked. Ofc I died rather quickly, resulting in getting very little to no AP at all. Seems like I just can't handle the sorcs squishiness. Maybe that's a consequence of playing a templar on retail lol

So chanter seems like the sweet spot for me cos of all the buffs and stuff. So I'm going to roll a chanter, see what it's like, and if I'll really stink with that class, I can still reroll to cleric. It's not like it takes an eternity to reach lvl cap here ^^

Especially chanter/cleric + glad seems like a good combo as I had an opportunity to see yesterday while pvping in beluslan. A cleric plus glad came around and about 7 players or so started a battle against those two. They were virtually immortal. We were fighting them for maybe 5 min untill they died. Ok, they were probably uber geared, but the synergy between that glad and cleric was just unbelievable I admire their pvp skill So this is what I'm looking for, and I hope I'll achieve that with my chanter some day If not, I'll start a cleric as secondary for sure

Chanters = You cant fill up skillbars :\ other than their mantras (you'll get 479447328 mantras) and blessings they dont have many 'combat' skills,
Glads are fun, but arent as reliable or fun as Cleric ^___^

 

Yeah pretty much everyone is a gladiator/ranger in Gamez I love gladiators but seems like most people hate them xD
Well I'm making a sorcerer now, I wanna try something new. I always loved sorcerers and never got a chance to have one.
But, anyway, just choose the class that you like the most, I mean, don't just go for a gladiator cause they're too easy to use. Chanters are awesome too, I used to be one and I loved the gameplay.

ontpc: My opinion is go for cleric cause when my cleric was a lvl 20-28, i went pandae-whoring and got some nice stuff/kinah for buffing/healing ONLY. Just dont forget to kite and have Hand of Reincarnatiob/Rebirth on and youre good to go
