    You could try battle ping or wtfast.

    It might help you out there, but most likely an ISP issue like betamax said. If your on WiFi, your connection will have some wierd stability issues from time to time (i hate wifi!!!! but it works for me because I have no one to drill holes in the wall for me to get a stupid wire to the machine =p)

    Leatrix and WTFast serve for two different purposes.
    I heard you could stack both programs for an even better response time.
