Help?

any fix whatsoever in errors like this.? i've read smartik's sticky thread and the only thing ive changed is replacing the item.pak with what the staff recommends.

 

GameClient OTCBuild32.woGG has stopped working

If you get this randomly after playing for a while (usually together with or instead of the send log error), simply restart your client and continue playing, most of us get this after some time.

If you get this at startup, it is a sign of corrupt, missing or incompatible files in your client. These can either be the items.pak placed in the wrong location, an incomplete downgrade by using the bin32 folder only without the data.pak that belongs to it or any other corrupt/missing file. It can be solved differently depending on the cause and whether or not you are aware of what is causing it.

1. If you made recent changes to the client, you might have an idea why it is happening. If you used the items.pak, restore the original and delete everything in your Aion\Data\USA\Items\ folder.
2. If it involves any other corrupt/missing files, repair in the NCSoft launcher and downgrade if necessary

The crashes while gaming are common on private servers, you aren't the only one. The only thing that bothers me with that screenshot is the huge "replace me" red box which usually suggest corrupt textures. If it only happened this once, chances are they just didn't load properly and I would ignore it. If the replace me box shows up every time, I would delete the .ncpatch and .repair files in your client and repair in the ncsoft launcher. It will redownload replacements for any corrupt files you might have. There is no harm doing that since gamez supports the latest client.

yeah, i've done my share of research in this matter and it does happen a lot to private servers.. my problem is it happens everytime i play, after, say, 4 mins or so since logging in

i'll try what u suggested.

 

Does it happen at the same spot though or any map. Some places are known to give these crashes, such as the lighthouse in beluslan. In those cases it is the location and not randomness.

 

uhm it happened while i was in pandae, gelk, tiamranta, reshanta, heiron.. well kinda random really..

 

Weird. If I get an error it's the Send log thing. Never had that one. Have you tried repairing the client? Might help, who knows.

 

i also get that Send log thing along with that error. the only weird thing really is that this happen only recently, so i haven't been able to play for 2 days because of this.. was there a ninja update or something gamezaion side?

ill try all ur suggestions though so thanks in advance.

 

If it was server side more people would complain about it. Could just be 1 of your client files getting corrupted or something.
