I was not aware the Amish were poor and lived in clay houses. There is a pretty major Amish community near my area and most of them are actually quite rich. Mostly because they can get some nice tax breaks, have much less expenses, and mostly just save their money up. Also helps that when they come of age, their family and neighbors build them a house and that really cuts down on living costs. They're good houses too. Made of wood and everything, and not that cheap clay stuff. I also wouldn't say that they are happy so much as they are "content".

Menonites? Which are Amish people who decided to accept modern technology into their lives. They have the best of both worlds in that they get all the amish benefits but also get the modern electricity and stuff. They make some big bucks and are actually able to spend it on the nice new technologies. One guy in my area has a huge soundsystem in a barn which is used for Amish parties, which are actually quite awesome and the Amish girls are quite hot and really into monster slayers. Especially monster slayers that have protected their farms from the vicious lukenzi monsters, which are large monsters with sharp claws on tentacles. Very mean. I get hit on every time I go to one and if I wasn't already spoken for I'd be getting much laid. Very sex. They are also into truck drivers.(Actually no troll, a lot of girls like truck drivers especially when they're young and in shape) And they most certainly do not live in clay houses.

So the clay huts have solar power? That actually makes sense as there is a lot of sunlight over there and the secluded area is a good place for Solar panels.
