Horse exp bugged?

Hi all,

Is it just me or did something change with the horse exp the last couple days? Realisied today after letting my merchant wagon run the whole night (~8 hours) and they only gone from start of lvl26 to start of lvl29. So I've tested it out on my merchant wagon an hour ago, was getting ~1400 XP/tick (running Value pack, Trainer's Clother and Venia Attire costume, ~200 Training Mastery). Literally like 4 days ago I've let my merchant wagon run overnight and my horses went from lvl23 all the way to lvl30 (same tier). Also I could swear I was getting like ~4-5k Exp/tick. Nothing changed from my side, same gear, same buffs (at least nothing that I am aware of right know that would make such a huge difference of over 3x the xp gain).

Has someone experienced something similar?

 

Where do you afk horse train? Did you watch your path before you afk'd for the night? Certain turns slow the horse wagon down and it's hard for it to gain it's speed back until the path starts over. Sharp instant turns are the only types of turns that don't slow the wagon down. This could be one possible cause of the lower exp gain over the night.
