Hotshottz ban appeal

I am truly sad to have to be here appealing to a ban that was caused by lag. Apparently i was accused of flight speed hacking at teminon fortress.

I was in the fortress hunting pesky assassins coming in sneak attacking people when suddenly i get ported to the GM map with Sanctus's GM character. There i was told i was speed hacking and asked how this was gathered as i do not use any 3rd party programs for this game or any game i have ever played.

I was told he was following me (watching as someone reported me) and claims i was pulling away from him at 1m per second. i try to explain it must have been lag as i can jump into the 400-500s ping with so many people around teminon building but he says he has proof it wasnt lag on video.

Now as you all know i have done alot to help catch speed hackers as you can see in my xfire profile so im clueless as to why im being accused of speed hacking.

Would also like to mention i have seen many people do this very same pulling away at 1m per second or even gaining 1m per second to catch me but pay no mind to it as i know its lag, not everyone runs at 20-60ping on this server. Speed hack is 10+meeters per second which you can see in my videos.

I know mistakes can happen and i assure you again i do not and have not ever used any 3rd party programs to cheat playing games (im a 34 year old grown man, i have no need to use childish hacks). I hope this will be looked into thoroughly and you GMs agree this is a lag issue and not a hack.

I would also like to see this video for myself if you dont mind.
Sanctus: Evidence. The user in question was consistently faster than me while I had them on auto-follow. I am 100% confident in my decision to ban the user. Not all speed hack cases are blatant abuse (blinkers) some are subtle.

 

Lag doesn't cause people to go faster, I'm afraid. The vid listed shows you steadily pulling away from Sanctus.
