How are item prices made ??

Is it "developer set it that way" or is it actualy based on ingame economy or ?? Does anyone from developers look at the prices and adjusts them to make sense or is it just like that because there is not enough supply/demand ??

Just asking because i just found that blue gathering tools are 2x more expensive than blue LUCKY gathering tools which dosnt make ANY sense.. and im sure someone could find more examples like that ...

Could someone (after the big updates ofc) look at the prices of things and make them more "sense making" ?

not sure if this should be in questions, sugestions or bugs so if i place it wrong then please move it..

 

It does make sense that it is a question, however you/I/we should also make it a suggestion as there are MANY inconsistencies with Market Place pricing when compared to Values of items:

Add up all the Materials needed for crafting/cooking/alchemy and then see if the "price is right" as in the price should be slightly higher than the combined materials to make the item however as it is now I think that the prices are all under the minimum of combined required materials.

 

Well, this info is based on my personal research so if you disagree I'm respect your opinion.
1. Item value fluctuate based on the listed amount of item listed/sold.
2. How long does the item at max price last in the market (meaning if it's sold at min price more often it means the max price will drop while the min price might remain the same or decrease as well).
3. Material needed like loboram mentioned above.
