How big is the updated 3.7version file??

Elow everyone, i have been waiting for this update, the verson 3.7 but been very busy this past few weeks irl...reallyw ant to know first how big the file of the updated 3.7 version??? i mean, how many gb will be needed or added for this new update since i think, with my previous last update, the 3.0, my file for gamezaion already becomes 47gb something???? so really am confuse and interested how big the new update will eat or taken out of my HDD??? pls no spam or no good/nonsense reply...really need to know and will it have already an item pak suitable for windows xp user like me???since with 3.0, really unable to trade my items and be able to trade due to complication arising from the item pak compatibility issue with windows xp user....many many thanks to thsoe woho would sensibly reply...and HAPPY HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL.....:love:

 

34GB in the HD, But when it finish.. its around 23.5GB.

 

From 3.0 to 3.7 (3.5.0.6) is a 1.9Gb update.

 

47gb is ridiculous, could think of several reasons

1. delete .ncpatch and .repair files from your aion folder, they are useless setup files, that should save around 15gb of space
2. delete ~PS folder (might be set to hidden), it is a temporary folder created during installation/updating that gets deleted once the patching process completes. in some cases that folder is left behind and results in file duplication, taking up unnecessary space

the final folder size is around 22-23gb

 

thanks haydeez for your information, its such a relief knowing it will just take that much memory in my hdd. also, am honored to be answered by the walking encyclopedia of gamezaion himself, Smartik1.....will try to do wat you suggest since my file is really that big....wew, wat a relief also that it will save some space in my hdd since i cant download other files due to the big space gamezaion had eaten in my laptop.....thanks a lot sir Smartik1 and Haydeez, was afraid wont be able to play gamezaion due to the big update it will take.....miss my characters really......WISHING ALL A HAPPY HAPPY AND A PROSPEROUS 2013 NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

 

elow Sir Smartik1, i really need your help now.... i just ahve time to upgrade my aion file and was trying to follow your instruction to minimize my gamezaion file which i mentioned was 47GB big but decided instead to upgrade my version to the new version of 3.7 and wlll just follow your steps after upgrading my file but after the usual looking for updating sequenc, the ncsoft launcher finally appears
but i just recieve message that AION WAS NOT INSTALLED and was told to install it but it says the total installation download size is 14094MB and thats big on top of my existing 47GB file which i have already.....please help me if i really need to install it and will just cancel it until i hear the word from you saying for me to go ahead and install it.....pls Sir Smartik, help me since I really want to play my characters and have been unable to participate in any event being held right now ingame....your immediate help will be highly appreciated...more power!!!!

 

i think u need to go to ncsoftlauncher and locate ur aion.bin from the option u see on game aion

 

u know that post is from 2 weeks ago right? xd i think thats the guy who had a 3.7 client inside a 2.7 client or something ridiculous like that, i remember fixing that for some1 on teamviewer, might be him
