Just a note here but I did try looking up topics for PVE with the search, but I couldn't just search PvE and when I typed in anything else it wouldn't give me any thing of what I needed soooo :/ The search system has never been to good to me.

So hey guys I was thinking last night and I really want to get into the other side of Aion as well, PvE. Seeing as how I have an almost fully decked out Sorc for my pvp I want to take my glad and make him my PvE based character.
Now I didn't know what classes were most sought after for PvE in groups. I was mainly thinking chanter for healing and sin for DPS but I'm more of a person who likes to tank. But I don't want to just sit there and tank damage I also wana have some decent DPS so i'm going glad for PvE.

I'm taking a guess primal plate stuff is what I should be going after. If not then rebellious. And i'm assuming that dual wielding swords and or maces is the better option for DPS -though I greatly prefer greatsword- So i'm wondering if that's correct or not, and the manastone builds for PvE and what not, cause PvE is much more different than PvP.

Also if you're in a legion and you know you're looking for a PvEr then i'll gladly join. I just need to get him up to level 60 and gear him up, as well as learn a bit more about arggoing bosses and what not. Just hit me up in game on siel, my glad's name is coben, or i'm always on here.

Thanks for the help in advanced guys.

Gladiators have the highest DPS output in PvE.

Go dual-wield with your preference of weapons and perfect your weaving.

We would like you to join our order, brave Daeva.

For best PvE damage output chose Dual Wield, either sword+sword or sword+mace. For pure DPS socket crit strike in swords and attack into armor, for both DPS and tanking socket crit strike in swords and parry/HP in armor. Also you should socket bleeding or poisoning godstones, or 1770 with 2% proc damage godstones.

There are 2 good options for a PvE gladiator if you ask me.

    Option 1:
    - Dual mace with magic boost manastones on the main-hand and attack manastones on the off-hand since if I'm not mistaken, you won't get the magic boost bonus from the off-hand mace. Put damage godstones on both mace such as 2% 1880 / 1% 3760 / 20% 118 / 10% 376. Don't forget to consider the fact that the percentage of a godstone on the off-hand weapon gets cut by half so say it's a 10% one, it'll actually be just a 5% proc rate if you wear it on the off-hand slot. Wear a cloth set that could provide the highest magic boost possible. Don't forget to consider switching a cast speed cloth gloves for an attack speed gloves of any type.

    Option 2:
    - Dagger / Mace or Dagger / Sword with damage godstones on them and a plate set that could provide a good amount of Critical Strike and / or Attack. I prefer Dagger / Mace if you ask me so test whichever would satisfy you. Regarding the manastone for this option, I'd suggest to put Attack on everything. I've tried this one and I'm still dishing out Critical Hits on PvE just as much as I do with my PvP set (which is Crit / Accuracy).
