Guide How to change your in game font

Step 1.​

Start by downloading a truetype text font (.ttf) file and renaming it to "pearl.ttf"​

Please note: It's a good idea to have your file name extensions view option enabled so you can verify the font file is .ttf

Step 2.​

Then create a folder in the BDO directory called "prestringtable", exactly as I typed it.

After that, create a folder inside the "prestringtable" folder called "font".​

You should be left with a directory that looks like this;​

C:\Program Files (x86)\Black Desert Online\prestringtable\font​

Step 3. ​

After verifying you have the correct folders created,​

drag the pearl.ttf file you downloaded and renamed earlier into the "font" folder you just created.​

Step 4.​

Launch your GamezBD client and enjoy your new custom font in-game! (This also works for retail)​

If you want to look at fonts without having to download any, look in your folder

C:\Windows\Fonts​

Change the font for only your own responsibility.
