How to get FailStacks

I've been reading so many guides that contradict eachother and say different things about how many fail stacks you need, so i have finally got a grasp as for how many fail stacks i need however i still can't find a way to consistently get failstacks on this server. I have full boss weapons and i don't know what to do next so i plan on getting tri on my primry awakening and secondary before i get boss armor. I just someone to give me a way to consistently make failstacks for DUO+ because i have duo on my primary and i have no idea how i'm going to get past it. I've basically just been chucking memory frags and throwing concentrated black shard at my weapons to get to duo. I know that's not going to work for long so i need help, i have tons of materials because i'm master gather 2 and i farm a lot at hexe and burn earrings for sharps i just need failstacks.

I'm not an expert myself but I'll try to offer as much help as I can ; if anyone has better suggestions feel free to write them down for OP's sake.



This is currently my gear on Gamez ( I only started playing on this server two weeks ago but I've been playing on BDO EU since release ) .
So how do you enchant your gear on this server ?



Let's first have a look at one of BDO's classic enchanting tables and take in consideration that the base enchanting success rates for both this server and the official ones are the same ( aka...that initial 2.50% chance to make an item go from +14 to +15 will be the same even on this server ) ; what changes here is the fact that the correction % given by failstacks is no longer a number that changes depending on the enchantment level but it's always going to be 0.50% per failstack ( thing which makes it harder for you to enchant stuff up to TRI but easier to enchant to TET or PEN compared to the official servers ) .

Up to this point everything's alright....but how are you supposed to get failstacks ?



People will usually tell you to use +14 -> 15 reblath to get up to 15-20 failstacks but why reblath specifically ? Why not green gear ? Special deals often make it be just as cheap....
The fact is that you DO WANT to use reblath because oppositely to green gear such as grunil its enchantment type is fixed and as you can see from the pictures above reblath only has a 2% chance to succeed ( modified by your number of failstacks ofc ) while grunil has a 6% one.
Now , let's consider that if one failstack grants you an additional 0.5% enchantment success chance then 10 failstacks grant you a 5% chance , which means that your reblath will always have a 2% +5% x every 10 fs chance of reaching +15, thus making it ideal to reach a decent amount of failstacks.

How do you reach 25-30 failstacks though ? What if you want to get more ?

Sadly there is no "magic trick" for this ; the method people use is to try enchanting green or blue quality gear ( if you can afford the repairs ) from PRI to DUO and hope it fails. Keep in mind that the higher your gear tier is the harder it will be to enchant it ( hence why failstacking on blue or golden quality gear is pretty efficient if you can do that ) . PRI to DUO's base success rate for white or green quality gear is about 11-15% ( still modified by 0.50% per fs....which means that if you are trying to go from 15-20 fs to 25-30 you'll be starting from an 11-15% + 7.5-10% success rate and keep going until you hopefully reach the desired amount of failstacks....but as you see it's quite a gamble ) .

Do not get discouraged if you fail at getting failstacks consistently at start and remember that this game in particular involves a lot of rng ; as I mentioned....any result up to TRI is also harder to achieve on this server compared to retail so take it easy if your gear will downgrade a few times before succeeding and always make sure to have a backup plan and the relative materials / failstacks to get it back to the previous level of enchantment in case that happens.

Thank you i appreciate the help, i was just hoping there was a easy wy to get 30+ failstacks because my boss weapons are all DUO and i have no idea how to get failstacks without smashing my items.
