Solved How to play on Aion original servers.

I am wondering how i go about playing on normal aion servers with the files i downloaded from the torrent, saving me downloaded 30gb again.


i have copy/pasted the gamezaion folder to desktop


i know i have to do something with the ncsoft launcher in the new folder.. but not sure what

can someone say step by step how i do this?

Sigh..

Step 1. Download the NCsoft launcher. It should create a shortcut called "Aion" in your NCsoft/Aion folder, which you will be using to play retail. If it doesn't create that shortcut and only says that it "repairs" your Aion client, I'll tell you what to do in a later post. (I don't remember if the Aion Installer creates the launcher if it finds a full client without a launcher or if it tells you "no launcher found", or if it just "repairs" the client without installing a launcher. Which is why I offered to help you before).
Step 2. Open NCsoft launcher inside NCsoft/Aion using the "Aion" shortcut you just created and let it update your client.
Step 3. When your client finishes updating, use the Aion shortcut from NCsoft/aion folder to open your retail client, and use the Gamez folder on your desktop to play on Gamez.

Do not touch the Gamez folder I told you to copy/paste in your desktop for this process. That folder will be used only to play Gamez and you don't need to modify it to play here. The folder you should be modifying is the NCsoft/Aion one to be used when playing retail.
