How to sort MB/MA and MA/MB manastone build for gunner

    I currently have Shep Pistol and Gulare Pistol, ACD set, and AC Magic Acce. Any kind of advice on how to organize MB/MA and MA/MB manastone for gunners (weap and set)? Thanks.

    What kind of advice would that be? Basically any decent mage should have at least 2.4k unbuffed MA. A lot of gunners in gamez put a lot of MB and less MA, resulting to low ma. Personally id go full MA/MB. Or MA/MR MA/MB.

    Use this, add manastones/enchantment and see what you need to reach your desired stats (you can see them by clicking the Char Stats button in the lower right corner).

    Yea, I did put in too much MB resulting my MB to 2,924 and MA 2,040. But then, 2.7k MB is the cap right? I mean, what's the ideal MB and MA for gunners?

    That's the problem, i don't know what's my desired stats. >.<

    I don't know about you however I have got 3.3k MB and 2.7k ma and that's from 100% ma/mb stones not 1 single mb/ma manastone is on my gear and I'm a songweaver we ain't got buffs that increase MA like gunners so I guess you could sacrifice abit of ma for mb.

    No that is absolutely not the cap. Because everyone nowadays has magic suppression, so if we were to say that there is a 2.7k cap on MB, you would still need 4500mb in order to out-cap every single arbiter user out there.

    so that 2.7k cap doesnt actually exist? i guess i'll just get a better weapon so I can boost my mb and my ma. It really annoys me fighting a chanter/cleric/temp that are resisting my all my skills. -_-

    The Magic Boost Damage cap is actually at 2.9k MB, meaning any Magic Boost exceeding that would not increase the damge. This mostly only applies in PvE situations. The cap is irrelevant in PvP because Players have Magic Suppression which is a direct counter to Magic Boost in a 1:1 ratio.

    If counting theoretical values, that 4.5k MB is pretty close estimate. (Average 1.5k MS + 2.9k MB = 4.4k MB).

    Edits:
    For socketing MB/MA on a Magical Damage class, good figures would be 2.4k+ MA (before buffs) and the remainder into MB (results around 3k+).
