So far, I think the soft cap is 440 Crit ..

Until 440 crit you gain 1% per 10 Crit rate . that means you will have 44% crit rate at 440 Crit ...
After this soft threshold, ou gain 1% of crit ever 20 Critrate ....

Wise thing is to calculate potential Crit ressist of your target ...
Dunno about exact number, but building your character around 440 crit +300 to prevent reducing from Cri ressist sounds good to me ...

from 0 to 440 in Crit Rate, each 10 points increase the probability of landing a critical hit by 1%
from 440 to 600, each each 10 points increase the probability of landing a critical hit by 0.5%
from 600 to 649, each each 10 points increase the probability of landing a critical hit by 0.2%

You get the probability after deducting crit strike to crit resist of opponent right? So for example I have 440 crit and my opponent has 300 strike resist, then I should have remaining 140 crit strike so that's 14% chance to crit right? :)

I wasn't going to comment on this thread, but I'll just say as a half-decent noob, that this comment made me think "ooh, smart". Probably because I run around like a ninny with 450 strike resist and they'd actually be able to crit on me.
