Yeah, you use that candy to see Hide I and the SM's hide xD but you can't attack while transformed, bad thing .

well i could see uses for it. my sorc has 10 seconds detect with 3 mins cd, candy runs out fast too, its no use against an annoying twink ranger who decides to try run away in hide after failing coz he can spam that damn hide. this would let me chase until hes nearly out of hide, then cancel it while he pops up and own him

its also good for locating "assassin" type mobs like south east morheim lepharists that r permanently in hide

u can also use it in instances to avoid aggro

 

Actually you can auto attack while the candy is active you just cant use skills.

 

which is nice if ur in a group and u make some coward pop up so ur group can own him

 

That candy is just like a shit, reusing time is 1hr?!

 

be happy the detect skill lasts 10 minutes, sorc buff lasts 10 seconds which is pretty useless considering the ridiculously short cd on hide. sins have like no cd on that considering how many they have and even rangers can use it for 20 seconds every 30 seconds. makes it hard to chase them

think 10 minutes is plenty. it allows classes that dont even have a detect skill to see. yea u could get detection seeds that work for 10 seconds but those have cooldown too and ull run through them much faster

by "avoid aggro" i didnt mean mobs dont aggro u i meant u dont walk into the path of mobs that use hide. died a few times on retail in the morheim lab coz i was taking care of 2 mobs and a sin one popped up from hide 3 elites were too much for me xD

 

I miss using the mount to avoid aggro q_q.
And yeah, there are mobs in heiron that uses hide too, I reported them using that report thread but I don't know if their hide still lasts 24 D:

 

its not a bug as far as i know, sin type mobs r intended to be permanently invisible

 

But I attacked them and they kept hidden ._.
