Time goes forward.
I know. Lets increase the mass of earth several hundred times to make time go slower, still forward though, but slower.

 

Time dilation shouldn't have any real effect on us, it would slow our time in comparison with other planets with weaker gravitational force, and you might be risking making earth collapse into a black hole by doing that.
I'm not sure in any of what I just said, I didn't study physics.

 

That's stupid. Time doesn't go forward in a line. Time goes in a circle. That is why clocks are round!

Personally I'm a fan of the universe loop thing as shown in Futurama, where the Professor makes a time machine but it can only go forward and the plan was to go just one minute forward but it got stuck going years and the Professor and Fry and Bender were all going forward through all these events in time and eventually they got to the end of the universe only to find out that it resulted in another big bang and the universe started up again. So they fast forwarded through time again and the professor tried to blast Hitler with a laser gun but missed and hit Eleanor Roosevelt instead but eventually they get things right and get back to their current time.

Hell, who knows how far we are in this loop. In the next go around, I'm going to see how badly I can fuck things up.

I prefer the multiverse idea. Maybe there is one where you are indeed fighting dragons.

And in that episode, not everything ended alright, the universe was 3 meters lower.

 

I fight dragons in this universe. Maybe in another universe I AM a dragon and dragon slayers try to fight me. And in another one Humans are the big scary monsters that dragons are afraid of and it's up to brave human slayers to prevent them from overrunning dragon cities. In that universe dragon me goes out to slay the big scary humans and then I tell crazy stories about my human slaying adventures on the interwebs.

And in another universe I preach peace and NOT fighting. Damn that me really sucks I gotta go find that me and kick my ass.
