Hard to say really, it is all a matter of preference.

Blind to counter melee classes, which will usually end in a brawl where you hit them many many many times...

Silence to counter mage classes/chanter's healing, but the downfall to this is we all know a good sorcerer/sm will control you till the end making you're amount of hit's small.

However, being a templar you have Inescapable judgement which will pretty much ensure you're capability to land a few hits even on a mage.

So, in the end I'd say choose either one at you're own leisure. I'd choose silence myself as caster's are the only thing's that may take you down quickly. (I know it takes me only one burst round +frost to down a full 55 geared templar) and healer's like cleric and chanter are just plain irritating.

Well, that is really a matter of personal preference.

But I'll give you some low down:

Silence: A god stone that produces a silence effect restricts the usage of ALL skills that require MP. Silence is incredibly useful against almost every class in this way, because every class's strongest skills consume MP.

    A couple examples:
A gladiator's Sure Strike, Precision Cut, and Severe Precision Cut. Even though they're physical attack skills, they still consume MP, which means they're still blocked by silence effects.

Blind: A god stone that produces the blind effect will destroy the accuracy of your enemy to the point that they wont be able to hit you at all (Of course there are a few skills that never miss). Blind will cause 99% of all physical attacks (barring unmissable attacks of course) to miss you. Blind is incredibly effective against any physical type classes.

Blind, however, will not do anything to hinder the damaging abilities of Clerics, Sorcerers and Spirit Masters (since blind has no effect on magic skills).

So, the decision really comes down to (as far as pvp is concerned) whether or not you want to disable casters, or disable physical attackers. According to your personal play style and how you set your groups up, and how you pvp etc... one god stone might be better for you than the other.

I hope this helps you decide.

I'd go with blind, either way you won't land enough hits on a sorc for silence to have much of a chance to land.

Then again i rarely hit sorcs more than 3-5 times before one of us ends up dead xD

If you don't have issues with melee classes, go silence.
If you have issues with melee classes, go blind.
Silence = don't forget that it silence every magic skill you have, this includes some of sins stuns, all of the gladiators selfheals, chanters buffs and so on!
