I will try to be as mature as I can be about this.

As you may know, yesterday, like many other days in the world of Gamez, Shift+V was bugged and booted players from the game.

In /3 chat, I typed, "EVERYONE PRESS SHIFT+V".

Was I trying to be funny? No. Was I trying to have a jab at humor? Absolutely not. Was I trolling? Not at all. Was I intentionally disrupting gameplay with the sole purpose of ruining players gametime? No; never did I force anyone to shift+v or give false incentive to do so.

Let me give you an example. Had I said something along the lines of, "Pressing shift+v will give abg items. GM please fix!" Yes, I believe I deserve some prison time for misleading players and wasting their time (known as trolling).

However, there was no reason to follow up with my suggestion. Never did I give false information, or blackmail someone into doing so. There is no reason to believe in a random player who tells you to do something.
Let me give you another example since most of you don't seem to understand. A stranger walks up to you. He asks you to put your hand in a hole of a box. He gives no reason why you should do so, just that you should do it. Why in a sane person's right mind would anyone listen to this stranger?

Yet players did in fact listen to this stranger.

Yet, supposedly, 8 people did press Shift+V, disconnected, and became angry enough to report to this one GM whose name I shall not disclose.

The GM thought it was a joke. Sorry to say, but I was thinking more along the lines of, "If I attract enough attention to this bug, maybe the developers will fix this bug faster." Of course you could not have understood the point of my action.. Think of it as a form of protest. No protest will gain momentum without dissatisfied people behind the issue. I alone cannot change the minds of the devs.

The GM himself faced disconnection. He listened to a stranger without reason. I strive to keep personal speculation on my side, but no doubt disconnection caused frustration and anger--directed at me. I suspect the 8 persons, if they do exist and did in fact report to the GM, surely complained not about me, but of the bug. I'm afraid my 360 minute prison sentence is not based on the outcries of these supposed 8 persons, but of the anger of the GM. If this in fact is true, then I believe this GM is not fit for the job of moderating Gamez gameplay. I will not delve further in this area as there is already a thread regarding feedback of GMs and their actions.

I apologize to the supposed 8 person's whose 5 minutes I asked them to waste. It must have been very difficult restarting the client.

I saw so much potential in this server. I'm sorry to say I'm disappointed.

Rest assured Gamezaion Jail is a joke.

You weren't banned, your items weren't strip, hell I bet even your AP is in place.

So there is no need to make giant walls of text. Just leave the comp afk and eat breakfast, maybe take a dump, come back and tada... good as new!
