Client Issue ingame problems

hello, i just came back to the game after a really long time and the game runs really slow, laggy and got disconected some times. I dont think its a PC problem because i can run other games like tera in hq without any problems

here are some specs
OS : windows 8.1 enterprise 64b
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 980 4GB
CPU: Core i7 6700K @ 4.0GHz
RAM: 16GB

ping is arround 200-250 im from Argentina and playing w/o wtfast or any of those, but fps stays at 20-30 in those low graphics and 20-30 and they remain the same even en all high q. tryed updating all the pc drivers but still the same.
and other problem is that sometimes i dont see some textures like skill icons, or npcs

 

and im getting this error every 10-15 min...

 

I have a suspicion that the game is using your integrated graphics card (part of the CPU, Intel® HD Graphics 530) instead of your dedicated one. Your hardware is sufficient to run the HD engine with everything maxed and still get great FPS and this FPS corresponds to a crappy integrated card.

Go to device manager under Display Adapters. If you see 2 cards, one of them is your CPU one.


I noticed some games did that for me, so I disabled the integrated card in BIOS and had great FPS since then.

As for your client, I would ask where you got yours and how old it is. If you are getting corruptions, you might want to re-download it from the Gamez torrent to get a clean copy with no out of date files from previous Aion versions. The other thing I would recommend is installing/re-installing DirectX 9.0c. The game was built on it and requires it to render graphics correctly. Generally you will get terrible FPS in old games (or the game might not start at all) if you are missing the relevant DirectX version even if your hardware is amazing. Get it here:

Note: When you run the downloaded file it will just extract setup files somewhere. You still have to run the setup yourself. Restart your PC when it is done. If it says you already have all the files, then you were fine. If it starts installing files, then you were missing them.
