Initializing failed.

Hi i was looking in the others threads but didnt get any help. I look at the tutorial of how installed and still cant get into the game. I launch the game and when the black screen with NCSoft logo appear. it always get freeze in there and a little window pop up saying "The system cannot find the path specified" I try re-installing it and keep popping up. Any help would be appreciated

 

Uh... so you manage to run the game with Gamez Launcher? It's inside your Aion folder right?

Are you by any chance using any of the following Anti-virus programs?
Avast 7
iObit Malware Fighter

Is this a freshly installed client or an old one that you just updated/repaired?

 

I got avast for quite a while and i just downloaded the game.

 

That's what Smartik says about these two programs:

Client instantly shuts down after blue logo in the middle of the screen

Common conflicting programs:
Avast 7
iObit Malware Fighter

Caused by the antivirus program (even when nothing is infected). Set an exception in your antivirus for the whole aion folder (or the NCSoft folder if you have aion in it) or temporarily disable your antivirus while you start the game

Avast - Real Time Shields -> File System Shields -> Expert Settings -> Exclusions and add *\NCSoft\* if you have aion in the NCSoft folder, otherwise rename NCSoft to Aion (or whatever your aion folder is called). This means that it will not scan anything inside a folder with that name regardless of where the folder is located. This problem started after the recent Avast version 7 update.

Try it, might help. Should help.

 

it still popping up even i put it in exeption and even turn it off.. mayb is something wrong with my comp that doesnt want me to play this game...

 

Lol no such thing. Try running retail through NCSoft Launcher. See if it starts up.

We'll fix it. Just gotta figure out what's wrong. =)

 

I try running a repair through NCSoft but it came out with an error. This is the log from the error I don't really understand beyond that point so Idk if this help you in something or not. but since i cant put a screenshot i hope this will do.

just tried to launched from NCSoft launcher and got the same error.

 

Hit repair/update then try again. Have you modified anything in your Aion folder since you installed?

You must have messed something with the installation.

 

ok i didn't remember doing anything but i wont get more complicated so i just delete everything and download and re-install everything the way you guys explain. And i hope it works sry for the headache and Thanks for the help.

 

Before you start the fresh download/install, make sure you have deleted everything from the previous one. Also, make sure your Anti-virus program is disabled.

Same problem here.
It gives me error 1024 and it says: "Failed to initialize game"

I tried everything and I still get following error.. any idea whats happening?
