Install Visual C++ button does nothing

I got a new computer and am trying to run gamez bd. I get a "Failed to init security" error when I tried to install the game. I tried to click the "Install Visual C++" button to fix this as per the errors sticky but it doesn't do anything. I have a few distributions of visual C++ installed but it still doesn't work. Anyone know how to resolve?

 

1. set your gamezbd folder as an exemption in your antivirus, firewall, and windows defender, even if you have them disabled.
2. Download and install this all in one runtime here: https://www.computerbase.de/downloads/systemtools/all-in-one-runtimes/ and immediately restart your computer. Do not try to run the game until you have restarted the pc, or there is a chance it will not work.
