installation/patching issues

Hi there i am having issues with launching the game through the provided laucher,

When i make a fresh copy of my BDO files and run the installer everything works fine, it install and updates properly but after it update so game 683 client 683, i log in, then press launch, but the moment i press launch it tells me there is another update so when press the OK button the launcher closes, when trying to run the game from the shortcut i get an error (see shortcut error and shortcut error 2 pictures provided)

After that when trying to launcher the install again when ever i press modify i get another error (see picture launcher error)

When trying to do repair same error again (launcher error picture)
the only thing i seem to be able to do is press remove and then after that i have to delete the GamezBD launcher folder restart the computer and then run the launcher again and have this issue all over again

currently my BDO folder is installed on my D drive instead of my C drive when setting up the launcher i set the location of where it needed to install/update/find game files
and the GamezBD launcher folder installs on my C drive

If there is a way to fix this would very much like any support

 

oh and would it help if i noted that the game files i made a copy off are the files downloaded from steam

This sounds like a network and or permission problem. Are you on a personal computer that no one else has access to? School/work PC that other computers are connected to? That D drive you have BDO on is inside your PC or somewhere else on a network?

 

No only i have access to my computer, yes d drive is within my laptop

any other ideas because no matter what i do i cant figure this out im seriously lost

nope still gives me all the errors, could it actually be with that i didnt install it on my c drive if thats the case i need to make room ill install it there if i have too but id rather avoid it

 

since the update, I cant get into the game either. the launcher will open up without any issues, but when I try to launch the game it will open for a few seconds then close and reopen the launcher.

 

i made it to work by desactivating the antivirus, it seems it doesn't let the launcher write on the C:\ folder, the problem is that when i click the start buttom ingame an autentification error shows up, can GMs please help us repair it , i would appreciate it.

what did you do?

 

unistall the launcher, reinstall but with your antivirus desactivated, then go to your firewall and give permissions to the launcher and there you have it

that is what it worked for me

 

that didn't work but the good old "did you try restarting it" worked so thats cool

No im still having the issues same errors as before, getting to the stage where waiting for the updates and downloads to the have the error getting really boring and of putting i just wanna know and understand wth the error/issue means
