Q8400. Check it out and tell me whatchu think >.< That's the best my current motherboard supports and I'm about to buy it. If it's not decent enough maybe I should buy a new motherboard (hence a new PC literally o.o) and a better CPU?

Processor- i7 2600(unlock)
Mobo-Asus P8P67 vPro or Asus P8Z68 Pro these supports 2 graphics card.
Vid Card- GTX560i or GTX570

 

No, just changing CPU. This is the only reason the newest games screenlag on it >.< (with a Pentium Dual Core atm roflmao)

 

yea lol. I just suggested my new unit's specs xD but you know processor,mobo and vid card also affects the games screen lag.

 

Agreed, but the Q8400 i think is meant to be good, and while playing the latest games its still good enough.

 

I have the same CPU (Q8400 2.66ghz overclocked to 2.8ghz :3 ) + GTX 460 + 4GB ram i run everything maxed with a perfect FPS
Windows 7 64bits.

 

Yeah. I might also buy a new GPU if I don't like how it is with the new processor :3 (nvidia 9500 GT 1gb)

 

Go for the Q8400, it's cheap, and it's pretty darn good.
And please, buy a new GPU, 9500GT is pretty old already o_o. Btw, myne is the 1.5gb one, GDDR5, there's no point in buying the 2GB one, unless you're going to play on a 300" TV .

 

Q8400 should be sufficient for a while. most games rely on Graphics engine/RAM more then CPU
