Is Farming Bugged?

    I started farming a few days ago and have noticed that fertilizer only seems to work on one fence as opposed to having a range of effect like in retail. Also using distilled/purified waters does not raise the moisture level for anything when I use it on a plot. I don't know if this is a visual bug or if watering simply doesn't work. I don't want to waste time/items trying if it's busted. ty
