the hard part about controlling your dream is that you need to be aware that you are dreaming, in which case if you do realize that you are dreaming it's more likely you'll wake your self up... they say it takes practice.. maybe i'll go try it XD

 

well as a guy who watched scifi movies i always had nightmares until i was 17 year old, i had nothing to do in an apartment, no work , no school, no disco so i wasent tired and sleeping was actually hard.. so hard i could watch myself as i fall asleep( very creepy sensation btw) and ofc having lucid dreams became easy and began to re-shape them but u cant re-shape it completly sometimes u can only do minimum changes or u wake up, but it was amazing being able to do it. the more tired u are the deeper the sleep will take u in the subconcious thus the less u can controll the dream, 7 years later i barely have any nightmare and i remember most of my dreams.

for me yes, it's similar to imagination

 

I had a lot of control over my dreams as a child (I could fly and make things appear), as I grew up I lost most of the ability but I still control certain dreams aka sex dreams.

 

I knew someone who controlled it........
they use an iconic item to know if they are still inside a dream...

Leo knows it too.. he used something like a Top toy that spins..

 

Yes, it's possible to control a dream, I can do it very easily. I'm not sure if I can do it while entirely asleep because of night time amnesia though. Some stuff do happen that I don't control. Such as Uruun has a habit of kicking me into sharp spike under the islands in the world I create when I annoy him. I also find that fire seems to hate me in dreams, almost any time I start a fire in practically explodes and burns me...Or kills me, the shock normally waking me up. And...I still get attacked from Elyos from behind and killed before I can fully buff and attack.

 

i dont think u can actually control ur dream like u know in the movie Inception that u can build shiit and create ur own people in ur dream while u dreaming u part of the character in ur dream u will play that role and u will not know that u were dreaming till u wake up. 2nd question have u ever have a dream within a dream before? i have experience once its really scare when that happen

 

no, it's not possible to control a dream, maybe in the future who knows. that's why it's called a dream, it's not real.

if you think about something or someone a lot, you'll have a higher tendency to dream about him/her, but that's about it.

 

its possible mainly just as ur bout to fall asleep or when ur waking up

 

I have been dream before(happes alot rly) and I realize consciously that I am Dreaming. I can just like do thing in my dream but its gay and i get bord and wake up lol.

Oh, anyone remember that dream where you are jumping off something, then when your about to hit the floor or whatever is at the bottom, you wake up and feel the pain ? xD

I also get this thing where i am still dreaming while hearing things in the real world. Very strange topic indeed~

 

I like the floating dream and being able to fly around lol..sometimes im like wtf its not working!! I just jump and can't fly
