Since it seems they like to have the last word or w/e in order to avoid somehow further issues . . . (Sigh really?)
    lemme quote

If a player is caught duplicating any items, he/she will be given an immediate Account Ban.

If he's caught doing so.. Never Mentioned a single thing about in possesion of duped items not even knowing they are.
I can prety much ensure you most of Lumiel server is in possesion of DUPED Veille Greatswords and MCC Glasses since a guy back in time duped over 1000 of each and traded them in mass amounts for ridiculous low prices., Yet that doens't mean you have to ban every single person for having those, But only confiscate those items and warn the player.

And let's say some random guy who's not even aware of prices gets those items as add or w/e.
Just by checking his account and banning him means HE's a hacker? That's clearly stupid and inaccurate above all.
I strongly believe those somehow inaccurate and irrational rules should be changed since you're just acting like if everyone in this server was somehow a "crominal" over having items they might have even gotten from friends, ppl they know or even as adds for a trade.

I agree with you, they should always prove the person is hacking, but 5000 +100 atk stigma shards is kinda suspicious, still dont mean they were the one to have created the shards, like could have been a trade or gift, gm should always prove a hacker is a hacker before they ban.

It's happened a lot in the past. Heard someone get warned or banned for having 500 gold medals he got in a trade. Wish it was exactly as the rule said. "If caught duplication items.."

Hey, I talked to your bf on retail lol.

This is the staff we have :3 You have to understand them . "Mature staff they say". I've had my mailbox bugged for 2-3 days and they said "I WILL TALK TO ALENTE I WILL!" and it's still the same. And many things I've had and needed to get solved. But this team, do not care about the players. They care about themselves, their image in front of Alente and Carl or w/e and the money they get in their pockets. (i'm not talking about the AMs or HeadGMs here). So, any larger changes then a date of an event can't be done to this server ^-^.

It most certainly does involve him. He points out how you missed something in the guidelines, you make a troll comment about him "he didn't close the topic" (I dont see any other moderator replying to this so it's assumed it's him to whom you are directing that comment), and he points out that he is not a moderator in this section.

I should be called Captain Obvious since I pretty much stated the obvious, unless this thread has some intention other than discussing a rule (reference to "im not talking to you dear", just in case)...

AM's aren't putting a show for anyone, and most certainly not trying to keep an image in front of anyone. An AM is a human being just like you and myself so to say they only care about themselves is a bit hypocritical because you as well are seeking personal attention are you not? "Fix my Mailbox"'. You say you aren't talking about the AM's or HGM's then you must be referring to AMT's well if thats the case, then you make yourself look like a fool,in a way, there AMT's (Aion Master Trainee) Hence the name; there still learning. As for Alente he's busy doing a whole billion of other things... Imo you could try emptying your mailbox, if you arent receiving any mail since thats usually the case.

As for the topic at hand .. As much as i would love to agree with you; you failed to input a vital piece of information which Frostie noted, therefore your whole thread has just been altered and is no longer valid.

    This thread seems irrational.

As Frost has pointed out contrary to your original post of "Never Mentioned a single thing about in possesion of duped items not even knowing they are." our rules actually do clearly state that possessing any duped items is grounds for account suspension.

The defining factor here is that while our rules state having duped items is ground for a ban the rules still have to be enforced by AMs - this adds a level of discretion throughout the process. As you said there are likely some duped Veille weapons floating around still from months ago when that exploit was around - do people get banned for owning them? No.

Why is that? Because it is reasonable to assume that people with these weapons could not be aware of their origin. It could be reasonably argued that a sensible person would have no idea their sword was illegitimate. However possessing thousands upon thousands of +100 power shards which have a heavy per-unit credit cost is far far less easy to argue as "accidental" A sensible person would look at that and think "what the hell"

The ban stands and I see no need for the rules to be amended. While the rules apply a blanket ban to all illegitimate items they are still subject to a case-by-case evaluation by staff. This allows them to be malleable depending on context. Sorry to crush the sensationalism that's going on in this thread but really people lets try thinking for a second =p

Firstly you realize I'm not paid for my time right? I couldn't care less how much you or anyone else donates. Any action I take will be on the merits of the idea/situation, not how much money it's worth. If I don't see something it's because I'm a busy person.

Your mailbox however I already cleared yesterday. While I have your attention though!

Care to explain why you're sharing an IP address with someone trying to scam accounts on the forum? You can PM me your explanation before I obliterate all your accounts =p

    Do be quick about it.
