keep dying

hi,

First off: i have basicly no experience in the world of AION.
The problem is that i keep dying to mobs that are ALOT lower then me in level (i'm 18-19 and cant kill a lvl 13 mob)
Ive did my class transfer & upgraded gear (evrything 18 from general weapon/armor stores)
Yet with my lvl 18 gear i dont seem to do any reasonable damage even to mobs 10-13.

ive made a ranger & assasin both of them have this problem...
did i forget to do something or ?

As you progress in levels you also automatically upgrade your skills to higher levels and you learn new skills. If you don't drag them from your skill window to your bar you keep on walking around with the basic 2 skills , both at level 1. Which will do very low damage. So I think you're forgetting grabbing the upgraded skills. Instead you're using the level 1 ones!
