Looks like you fell through the map. Sometimes this happens if the geodata on the server isn't quite right sometimes. Nothing to worry about though.

 

It has to be a visual bug since if it wasn't and you actually took that much damage, you would have already been dead after the first one where it says you received 500mil damage
I'm not sure why it happened or if it has happened to many people (never played templar sadly), but you have nothing to worry about since it didn't affect you directly, it was just shown on your combat log, making it a visual bug like I already mentioned.

 

I'm sure we've given the player a detailed explanation of how he ded.
