Launcher: 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object, the application is terminating'

I cannot open the game due to this problem with the client, I uninstalled re-downloaded the whole thing but still have this problem.
I cannot change the setting to change the file directory as the clash forces me to terminate the launcher
Things i tried:
downloaded latest client
Deleted GamezBDO files
deleted ...AppData/Local/GamezBDO & ...AppData/Roaming/GamezBDO folders
Turned off antivirus programs

I tried the common solutions but none of them are working, my windows update are the latest.

Edit: I downloaded the live client, the same problem persists, when i click settings the same message pops up and close the client

Edit2: Using the downloaded client, it shows 'the system cannot find the file specified, the application is terminating', i tried to set the file directory but the client crash whenever I click settings

Have you tried making a Forum search for: "Application Terminating" yet? Because it seems that some of the suggestions might have worked.
