Launcher Problem

This is what I get after I'm trying to start gamez today o.o Yesterday it was working fine, any ideas?

Try to run the program as Admin, and check the directory to see if the launcher is in the same folder as you Aion Client.

 

same results, and why would it move overnight o.o? But yes, it is in the same directory

 

You might wanna try disabling uac completely.

 

I'll try that later on and post the results, thankies, I'll update as soon as I got some results. It's a bit weird how it can change overnight though haha

 

I don't know, it sounds weird to me aswell D: But trying never hurt anyone!

 

No results so far, tried disabling UAC and launching it as admin No clue. Same error given >.< Any more suggestions?

 

did u just copied ur aion on someone?

 

I did what now? But I think the answer is no since I didn't touch the Aion folder since I updated to 4.5 with Gamez.

 

I mean after all that my only thought would be, delete the gamez launcher completely and download it again in the right folder for a fresh install and when it automatically updates it might work again

 

Hello Illusions,
create a new windows user profile (make sure its a Administrator profile) than disable UAC & try to run the GamezLauncher. Tell me if this works =)

 

Thanks for all the replies, and @Underdog, I've already tried disabling UAC on this profile and restarting however got the same results. What I have in mind is that I will "repair" Aion then downgrade it to 4.5.0.8, what I noticed was that my Aion was 0.6 not 0.8? No clue if this is making any difference but I believe the repair should fix it -fingers crossed- I'll update with the results!

 

Its maybe a problem within your user profile, thats why try to create a new one

I can now confirm that I have solved the issue successfully.

The Solution was :

1. Repaired Aion using NCSOFT launcher
2. Updated Aion to the latest version (.14)
3. Applied the downgrade
4. Updated using Gamez Launcher
5. Applied item.pak

Hope this will be to use for anybody else that can't solve it with the UAC thingy, hopefully it wont happen again.
