LFG chat and Spawn Protection?

Was wondering what happened to the LFG chat and any sort of chat where we can ask for help or whatever. I have a small legion where there aren't always people on to help when needed and when your getting camped at a rez point then it was nice to be able to let other Asmos know where to find the elyos that are camping people trying to level.

Ok first off I am all for some pvp, and yes I know this is a PVP server. That's not my problem. The problem becomes when there is supposed to be spawn protection and they can't attack you as soon as you land or rez at a obleisk. However this does not seem to be the case lately. On 4 different toons today (including a lowbie I was trying to level) I was killed the very second I landed/Rez'd I had not moved, cast a skill or anything. At least 6 other people were killed right after me as well by this same group literally camping the spawn point.

Now before anyone goes all "well asmo do the same thing" yeah I know they do, but not all of us do just like I know not all elyos do either.

Spawn protection doesn't work, and without a global chat of some sort we can't even try to fight back.

my question is as follows, how can i activate the local/city/lfg chat on a character? It works fine on most of my characters but on my main I just can not see it. this is kind of annoying and any help fixing this would be nice.

ps dont tell me to repair and all that jazz cuz its not a repair issue as it works on other characters.

 

Spawn Protection was updated in the last update. A fix for the chatserver so it rejoins the channels is coming in the next patch.
