I´m not sure if it is just my bloody Internet connection or my game version but whenever I switch locations it Takes houres to load I don´t se mobs and Npc´s sometimes not even my Char when changing equipment. All I do then is sitting and waiting.

    1. goto speedtest.net and post your speeds
    2. type /ping ingame and post it here (do it a few times and give the range or average so its reliable)
    3. goto your graphics tab ingame, check the display fps box and post it here

that will help with all of this

edit: what u r describing is mostly local things, so its most likely not the connection. would help knowing your ram (size and speed in mhz), free hdd space and hdd rpm (the speed of it basically). those things affect loading times a lot

btw aion is ram hungry and the longer the client runs the laggier it gets over time. sometimes it helps to just close it and wait a bit for ram to clear, then open it again, will be smoother

well its not ur internet, ur like right next to the server and even though ur net is not exactly the fastest it is enough for aion

what would help now is knowing ur graphics card and graphics settings ingame. btw games tend to get laggy when u have little hdd space left. there is more data fragmentation which increases loading times and theres little space for swap files/virtual memory which slows down ur system and applications overall

well u could always make a bit more disk space and use gamebooster to defragment the aion folder, but the graphics card and graphics settings would help a lot (so would knowing ur fps from game)
