If you can drop some money, go and grab an Alienware laptop.

They might be overpriced with desktops, but with laptop, they're one of the better bets.

Nope that is not enough. I think a laptop that will let you play Aion would be around 700$

By the way, you can always get a desktop with more specs for less buck.

my old laptop msi gt628 ran aion like a dream, with a gts 160m card. tbh I cant tell the difference with my alot better laptop with gtx 560m card. I dont know how much you can get for 500 bucks, but look at the different laptops that you can afford and check the gpu at notebookcheck.net

a 500$ laptop will only get u frustrated when u pvp and u might end up smashing it in the ground or throwing it at ur mom when she walks in the room asking if u want dinner, even for desktops: 1 to run aion like a boss gonna cost u more than 500$ but u have the advantage u can buy them by parts if u can ( depends where u from)

If you only have $500, and you're serious about gaming, spend it on a desktop. You'll get much higher performance with less money spent. To get a decent enough laptop for gaming without rage-quitting, you'll need at least $1,000.

Honestly, from personal experience, I've always used laptops ever since I started MMO gaming in 2004. It was only a few months ago that I built my first desktop, spending about ~$1000, and it was the best decision I ever made. Never going to game on a laptop again.

The last laptop I purchased was required by my school, for ~$1.2k, with these specs:

    Display size 14.1 inches
    Maximum resolution 1440 x 900
    Processor class Intel Core i5
    Processor speed 2533 MHz
    Installed memory 4 GB
    Memory technology DDR3
    Memory Speed 1066 MHz
    Total HD Size 320 GB
    Hard Drive Speed 7200 RPM

.. And I still can't tolerate playing Aion on it in comparison to my desktop. Framelag galore.

    TL;DR ... Don't buy a laptop for gaming, build a desktop.
