Mac Client possible?

Hi fellow players,

I have a friend that wants to play, but he only has a Mac....no comments please

Aion has a native mac client and he downloaded the game. Is there a way to connect to GamezAION with the mac client? Anything he can do to play?

My mac know how is limited thus I ask you all as a vast vault of knowledge.

i know someone playing gamez with MAC so I believe that he can play
tho idk how

 

if you cant run it on the mac os, you can always get windows on your mac so that you can play the game

 

Would be beneficial for native Mac way as the game runs way smoother that way.
Any help is appreciated.

 

Can that thing run .sh scripts? If so you can make yourself a custom launcher. Let me know though.. yeah.

Also I'd love to be able to take a look at that native mac client you speak of.

In any case, there is no Gamez Launcher for MAC. That is the real issue here.

 

You are right...I do not know where he found a "Mac" client...
I did not bother looking it up as I just trusted he knew what he was doing....I was oh so wrong.


I will let him know to go the Windows partition on his Mac and hope it works smoothly.

 

Bootcamp with windows 7... thats the only way to go, tried looking around for a way to launch Aion on a mac and couldn't find anything... so

 

I guess it's so. On Linux there's this emulator called Wine and you can use to it run Aion along with a script similar to a Windows .bat launcher.

 

I tried using Wine and CrossOver but the results turned out to be less than desireable, my recommendation is to bootcamp it
