Magic resist doesnt work atm, needs to fixed!

    Lollll.... yeah.

    This patch pretty much has broken MR and made sorcs even MOAR desireable to play.

    It's like arrghhhhh! -slams head against the wall- it was Bad enough before with supplication of focus, now its horrid!

    Hmm that's weird since my spells were being resisted by elyos earlier. though some of my spells do get through w/c is normal. Probably show proof a video or something and a SS of your MR and his MA. Then post it in Bug section so evil can fix it.

    Oh yeah will do it just wait little bit, my sorc is lvl 29 atm, patience, also after i have tested lvl 30 i make it again lvl 40 and u will see it ! :w00t:

    Magic resist works fine. Learn on retail how it is and then complain or atleast provide proofs.

    MR to 499 MR above opponents MA = 0.01% resist chance increase per MR.
    500 MR above opponents MA = +0.1% resist chance increase per 1 MR.

    I already gave you the answer.

    MR to 499 MR above opponents MA = 0.01% resist chance increase per MR.

    In your case: 1%

    But if you had 2000 MA and your opponent 2500 MR then is 50%.

    Ok wait from evilset's post this is what I understand:

    If my MR is 2,500 and Sorc MA is 2,000 I will resist 50% of his spells but if my MR is 2,550 I will resist spells by 50.50%?

    So is 500 the soft cap between MR and MA?

    Or does this mean:

    2,550 MR VS 2,000 MA = I will resist only .50%?
