Main questline not working?

    Hello, i can't continue main questline even after doing the exact same things as my friend. It says that i should go back to Cliff but i already have knowledge of the captain cliff and only knowledge of a person i'm missing in the list is the blacksmith Miguel Aries. Help ples.
