Migration from gamez

Thanks Back_ti I couldnt of said it better! If they were to follow your guidelines it would a very fair process maybe 1500 credits i know i cant save mine for nothing lol. All these people saying its unfair and stuff are crazy.

1. like i said before the point of this is to only populate the CA server enough so when new members come they dont see 15 people online and quit then and there. So with new members comeing in and staying because these say 50-100 people on well guess what Carl may get a new donator which im sure hed love to have. The whole point isnt to take away from gamez it is to help you sister server out and populate both of them. I mean there are people willing to transfer today if given the chance.

2. whats the diff in transfering a char with abg to CA or me making a new account and just buying it? nothing they have earned there gear thru voting or cash money so let them keep it. "i would transfer if i was gonna lose $200 in gear".

3. Why make a stink about them having to make a new char? it takes what 1 day to 55 on gamez and 2 days on CA wow so im going to waste 3k credits to get to 55 1 day sooner? ok let them if they want to buy 55 its the same as you buying your abg, because you cant vote 3k credits in one day so they would have to use real money to get credits. "Again a win for carls pocket"

 

Well it s me I have to thank u Darkbow...it was all your idea after all i just improved some things here and there. And I was initially an opposer as well but u opened my eyes on the subject (well those eyes wish to be opened that is huhuhu)

 

I do believe it'd be a good idea seeing how some people get sick of one server or the other. It'd be nice to have to option to move from one server to the other with of course having certain criteria to complete in order to perform this task. Crystal needs players as well and i do see this as the perfect opportunity to fix this problem.

From what i have seen the best criteria to have imo would be the following:

You must be level 55.
You must pick 1 gear set that they have, and 1 character per account.
Now i'd suggest 10 scrolls like i seen on some servers for starting out but if i figure this right the players will still have their crafting skill. For instance mine is 500 here I'd expect it to be carried over with me or someones going to have to come up with some kind of compensation.
If credits must be involved i suggest a max of 1k. Also would suggest keeping the migration to a min of 15 people per week.

 

thats not a bad idea... but it'd be a nightmare to implement and work out the kinks...

 

I'd agree on this on FtB but then again it will take a dedicated team to do this, no slacking/half assing it will get it done. So if this is implemented it's going to prove to keep the AM's occupied for awhile lol. Oh and congrats on getting am.

 

Limit the number of open migrations even further then...

Only 4 chars per account(on an accepted migration application as well as his gear a player must also delete his other chars)

mby admins want think about it Some ppl want go from crystal to gamez some from gamez to crystal why u not to give task 2 gm's and they would come in the occupied hmmm mby some Admin/High rank gm say finaly about it ?

 

another thing worth mentioning is that if ever the migration will be possible, is the process reversible? If the player doesnt enjoy the new gameplay. they should have the option to go back.

 

Disagree...if they want to test gameplay in either server they can create a normal acc.

Moving CA-players to gamez i don t aggree cause CA is depopulated

Transfer items its not hard just hmm i think screenshot make with your donate/vote items what u want transfer gm will send u it in other serwer/ delete in old serwer its 20-30min work per char so ... not so much

It s not a prison since noone enters a prison willingly but it s not a Motel either...to check in check out whenever u like...
U can test CA gameplay ...I can make a char 55 in 2 days if u don t like it and prefer gamez---don t migrate in the first place migrate is for those that want to play crystal

 

And there is one more final issue for slacker AMs and admins who are not advancing moving forward with this migration thing cause it s hard...

If u haven t figured it out allready antagonist p-servers are stealing members from our community with the trick of transfering gear...
It s so sick to trasfer gear to another server while we don t support migration to Crystal

This issue must be dealt for our community to grow

well.. 1) new emu will be applied soon enough so lets see the results, it surely should raise ca population
2)as i've already said, its impossible to do, cuz gameplay on gamez is much easier, that means items can be obtained easier then on crystal
3)gamez ppl will totally ruin ca's economy, while its in good condition right now
4)do u actually care about ashtar? she is the only one who's responsible for everything this.. imagine her deleteing and re-adding everything from the start, it would take her hell long...
and there are too many reasons why this so called migration cant be done :3
