It can be fun when you understand how it works. To a large extent it is about logic, deduction and in some cases being able to mentally visualize scenarios for quite a large number of fields (aka if it was here, how would the entire surrounding area have to look. if it creates an impossible situation for 1 of the fields, it means it is not there, 2 examples of this as a respons to LightSpike already).

If you stick to assumptions that you have to guess, it gets quite boring. Nobody wants to play a purely luck based game ^^

edit: Forgot about the part where if you are truly forced to make a guess, you calculate the probability of a mine being in a field ahead of time and only guess at a place with the lowest probability. What some people don't realize is they can also calculate the mine density in open space by dividing the number of mines left by the total number of fields left in order to justify clicking in the middle of open space as opposed to the edges of uncovered areas

Had to remake that trainer, realized it only worked on my PC, took a while to find the base addresses xD Should work for all win 7 64bit users now (english version only)

Yea I do realize how pointless it is to have a trainer for minesweeper, but it is good practice, learned a lot from it that I can use for any other game.

Edit: Oh and while testing I ran into a funny setup (from a single click)

Blew up on next click xd

Haha it is more like...curiosity xD I just have to know how things work. I don't have problems tracking down address or pointers that will work for me, but this is the first time I found out how to track down the base address that will work for everyone.

To illustrate, there were 440,000 pointers that pointed to the address I wanted to change. Later I found out if i use another PC to filter the list I can get it down to around 5,000 to make it more reliable (always have to pick 1 from the list). Later I found out that if i delete the local statistics and preferences files, it works as if it was a new computer and I can filter out even more pointers that will become wrong over time.

Minesweeper was a nice example, found out for the actual statistics I can filter it down just to the 1 right pointer, for the timer I was down to somewhere near 250 or so (it is possible for more pointers to be the right one, they just always seemed to point there no matter what I did) and the sign changing ones were down to around 4,900 (also always seemed to point there). It helped though since it is the first time I got the list down to 1 pointer, now I know the method to do that.

As for the sign changing one, there is a little issue with the way the game works. It was frustrating until I found out the pointer doesn't exist if this is your first game ever. If that is the case, you have to run it, choose a difficulty, close the game and open again, then it will work. It will work at any time if you played it on your pc before.
