Kick-Ass was amazing compared to what I at first thought it would be, I actually watched it again just the other night, which reminded me of Sin City oddly enough.

Anyway, again I suggest Sin City, for those of you that enjoyed Sucker Punch, or were hoping you'd find it to be great, I'd go see Sin City. Its absolutely amazing and easily my favorite film of all. It has the theme and style (if thats what you'd call it) of 300, Watchmen, and Suckerpunch, mostly in that its inspired by a graphic novel, however the directors of Sin City put a lot more thought into the plot. It keeps you entertained by constantly changing perspectives through 3 different main characters and their individual (yet tied together) stories.

Watchmen is also great, but you really have to pay attention and put more thought and intelligence into it than normal, its not just a simple action movie and because of that a lot of people disliked it, which was really disappointing. Personally I think its a masterpiece, well written and it really makes you think, for the genre that it is.

I liked Kick Ass and found Sin City intriguing also ;o. We seem to share very similar tastes in movies D:

Agreed, or even reading the graphic novels is enjoyable.

Though I was disappointed with Sucker Punch. Zach is a great director, but a below average writer. I give him mega props for trying though.

Watchmen was amazing though. cinematography was great in all of the movies mentioned by Lucent as well.
