My Perspective

Well,I've decided to make my own "Suggestion" thread.
All I have to say for an Introduction - is that if you wanna troll or start flaming,you're more than welcome to gtfo.

PvP(vE)
Once both fortresses in each zone are captured by the respective race ( Gelk forts by Asmos and Inggi forts by Elyos )
a sort of a Rift pops and allows to get into Silentera Canyon.
Implementing this Retail feature will encourage the Races to Attack or Defend their Fortresses.
I have no idea if this is something possible to do at the moment,but sure will make the people do something for their Race.
That's it for PvP , I have nothing much to add at the moment,if I think of something I'll edit.

Staff
Oh-uh.
I dunno if the inactivity of the GMs in-game is because of something related to their broken commands,but still.
Even in 1.9,there wasn't much Events or special stuff,all GMs did is to support players ( I guess ).
As far as I see it,there should be Event GMs and Support GMs.
Support GMs are more active in forums,checking on different cases,maybe less active in-game; while Event GMs are more active in-game and their purpose is MAINLY to hold Events or think of special tournaments,unique stuff like Gamez Event Group , but they still will support if they can.
Event GMs should be pretty much active,not saying they should be lifeless but contribute some of their free time,as they were picked as GMs and supposed to do it.

Also,Events themselves.
Honestly,if you sit and try to think about new&fresh type of events,it's not hard to come up with it.

That's it for Staff,I must add Alente is doing a GREAT job - regarding announcments,updates,listening to the community and tweaking stuff.

Economy
The tricky part.
I'll do it shortly:
1.9's economy = horrible.
2.0 = horrible aswell.
Let's face it,Market is dead,there is basically nothing in Broker , barely Trading threads in forums.

Regarding EAT, should stay untradeable for two reasons :
1)duping \ exploiting bugs will probably return
2)people will move their asses and farm their own Medals via Sieges
Regarding ABG and other Credit items : WRONG.
Kinah is shit,people sell potions and foods for BILLIONS,
so the only currency available are the Credits.
You nerfed any way to trade Credits - therefore market is dead and people are just frustrated.

I say leave the EAT untradeable,but bring back ABG and other Credit items, so the economy could rise up again...

Sooner or later,people will start to get frustrated about this "dead" situation, and just leave the server,unless something will be changed.

you sir r wright about everything the poor shugo's r starving broker doesn't even have blue stuff any more people trading manastons 3 times more money than before,i cant transfer abg items from my other char to my own (a shield from a cler 55 to temp 55 cause i made them on 2 acc) and there is allways no gm online.i know they r doing the best they can (at least i hope) to make all this bugs with 2.0 playable for all of us and i know they get flamed with pm-s all the time,but its their job.i see a lot of gm-s that r 15-19 year' old...i'm 25 and when i was 19 i wasn't a bit serious about anything...so maybe get some staff how should i put it grownup staff that can deal with all the problems we all love at gamez.dont wanna hurt anyone just my opinion

Things are quite horrible here... It's looks like we are on Stand By mode in Gamez

~Since the v1.9 update, old GM who cared about this server left. We see the same events for over 2 months now... Looks like some from GM team have gave up and just bored to do their job (-not all, some are really good in wat they are doing-)

For the record, many Event suggetions made by GMs are yet to be approved after long time...

Besides, in a community of 2+k players we got only 10 GMs, most of them from US or the same timezone. Out of 10 GMs the half are semi-active due to personal reasons. The rest do events at the US peak hours, so the players from EU are forgotten...

Economy is quite horrible.. ex: run/fly scrolls cost 30m a piece o.o"
The mini kinah wipe Alente did so time ago, didn't help at all...



Things like those make u wonder: wat is the Staff for?

 

+1 to your post, for the most part. Dupers will merely just dupe scrolls, medals, and other armor, though.
They thought making EAT + ABG untradeable fixed it, but it's FAR from being fixed. Good try though. Agree with everything else, though!

 

Duping and Exploiting bugs will always occur, you can't stop 'living' because of it.
I'm pretty sure people are working on fixing dupes and other bugs once they appear.
Plus there's the solution of moderating the database & logs for suspicious stuff,but it 100% depends on the higher management & their abillities.

 

We are missing many things that other servers got, less succesful than Gamez, like:

- Staff list with all members on main site
- Dev team
- Daily/ weekly events schedule
- Active GMs from US/ EU timezones
- Proper moderation of forums

 

I can only say, one decision brings various result. So before you make a decision, think about it carefully.

Although it's kinda late to say this..

Yes,there are risks in everything.
But the situation isn't so bright currently,and it IS possible to make it better.

 

This is the moment for decissions, it's now or never.

People will start leaving for other Aion Pservers who offer better organization, more features, less bugs, less lag, less dupes..

just like my previous post in a thread, the server seems to not want to welcome new players. It is hard to create another character using all the resources you have in your main..what more will it be for new players?

 

last I checked the Ing and Gelk fortresses were bugged and couldn't be taken
